Abad Pakistan is a public-interest digital media and capacity building platform committed to responsible journalism, media education, and inclusive storytelling. We focus on educating audiences, shaping perspectives, and amplifying underreported issues rather than competing in the race to break news. Abad Pakistan operates under its parent company Abad Vision (SMC-PVT) Ltd, with a mission to strengthen ethical journalism and contribute to a more informed, inclusive, and aware society in Pakistan.
What We Do
At Abad Pakistan, we produce context-driven journalism that informs, educates, and encourages critical thinking. Our work goes beyond headlines and focuses on explaining issues, offering perspectives, and highlighting solutions. Our core areas of work include public-interest journalism, Sustainable Development Goals, Human Rights, stories of persons with different abilities and educational content. Abad Pakistan Fellowship(APF)
Abad Pakistan Fellowship (APF) is a six-week capacity-building program designed to empower emerging journalists across Pakistan through practice-based learning, mentorship, and ethical training. The fellowship bridges the gap between academic media education and real-world journalism by combining expert-led sessions with weekly field assignments. The program aims to cultivate responsible, independent, and digitally skilled journalists capable of producing credible, evidence-based, and socially impactful journalism.
